CONSCIOUS MONEY SOLUTIONS provides comprehensive, personal financial planning from a “Life Planning” perspective.
Life planning is a process of...
1) helping people focus on the true values and motivations in their lives;
2) determining the goals and objectives they have as they see their lives develop; and,
3) using these values, motivations, goals, and objectives to guide the planning process and provide a framework for making choices and decisions in life that have financial and non-financial implications or consquences.
Rather than devote attention solely to your money, we strive to understand you, your world, your life, your dreams, and the legacy that you desire. When these things come in to focus, the process of directing your money towards the things that matter most can begin.
"Practical Applications of Life and Retirement Planning to Financial Planning," a White Paper published by the National Endowment for Financial Education and available at www.nefe.org.
Your World • Your Life • Your Dreams • Your Legacy
While so many struggle trying to make their lives work around money, we help our clients gain the skills and understanding needed to make money work for the life they want.
As Financial Life Planners™ we understand that money decisions are not just based on facts and logic, but are also colored by beliefs, emotions, and experiences. Financial Life Planning™ explores those beliefs, feelings, and core values. By doing so, we are better able to help focus your finances on the things in life that matter most to you. Our process is client-centered and is based on your unique values, goals, and aspirations.
"Money is inescapably interwoven into the fabric of a clients relationships, dreams, fears, loves, hates, successes, failures, and struggles. It is one of the few elements of life that has an effect on every aspect of existence, from meeting basic needs for food and shelter to satisfying the higher order needs related to the meaning of life and a spiritual connection. Money affects, either directly or indirectly, all aspects of ones life."
Facilitating Financial Health
by Brad Klontz, Rick Kahler, and Ted Klontz
We seek to create a path that will allow you to enjoy your life today while still planning and preparing for the future.
The goal of Financial Life Planning™ is to bring balance to life. By combining clear, consistent advice about money with your own values and perspectives, we seek to create a path that will allow you to enjoy your life today while still planning and preparing for the future.
Our process draws on the disciplines set forth by the Financial Planning Board of Standards as well as the Financial Life Planning™ tools developed by Money Quotient ® , FirstStep Cash Management™ and a number of other Financial Life Planning™ pioneers.
Financial Life Planning™ is a holistic, life-centered approach to financial planning with an emphasis on each clients unique values, motivations, and goals. By uncovering the clients deeply held values, we seek to create a framework for making decisions and choices that can have a positive impact on personal, financial and emotional well-being. Financial Life Planning™ services are offered on an annual retainer fee based on income, assets, and complexity.
"It's good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it's good, too, to check up once in a while and make sure that you haven't lost the things that money can't buy. "
~George Horace Lorimer

Our services are not restricted to any one type of client or to those of a certain income or asset level. Rather, we seek to work with clients who wish to create their own best life, both for now and for the future.
Though our clients may have varying backgrounds, they have all come to the understanding that money makes a wonderful servant, but a poor master.
We work best for those who are determined to make money work for them in a way that gives them their greatest personal fulfillment.
That said, we do place a special emphasis on certain groups with which we have had extensive experience:
Retirees and pre-retirees
New medical practitioners with high student debt
Entrepreneurs, artists, performers, commissioned sales-people, and others with irregular or intermittent income

The groundwork for making positive change in our own financial lives is awareness ; the enlightenment that comes from first assessing our individual leves of financial satisfaction; and then recognizing the unique and personal circumstances, behaviors, and attitudes that impede a sense of financial satisfaction.

LIFE TRANSITION SURVEY
Because nearly all of life's transitions have a financial tether, it is important to consider how you can increase your financial resilience. From a practical standpoint, financial resilience requires a foundation of basic financial knowledge and a strategy for building financial security. From an emotional standpoint, financial resilience requires self-confidence. This is achieved by identifying your fears and behaviors in regard to money, and by working to understand and overcome the underlying issues. Click HERE to complete the LIFE TRANSITIONS SURVEY
